Melody

Melody is an Appendix mare, a thoroughbred- Quarter horse cross was born in 2008. She was surrendered in 2020 along with her best friend, Sheriff after their owner fell on hardships during Covid. Melody has gained lots of trust and brushed up on many new skills over the years. She loves her herd-mates and her human visitors, and although she is currently the largest horse on our ranch, she is the slowest, a real life gentle giant! Each week, Melody eats 30 pounds of pellet for breakfast, and 5 bales hay per week, MSM and Glucosamine for her joints, in addition to needing her feet trimmed every 2 months, and her teeth floated once per year.
